Myanmar – Rescuing Child Soldiers

This video was shot for the Act for Peace Myanmar appeal.

Khin was just 14 when he was sold into the army by his uncle for $200 and a bag of rice.

Arun, who was 16 at the time, was manipulated into joining the army. He was beaten by officers, treated badly and had to work seven days a week on the army farm.

This film looks at the challengers local Community Organisers such May Lyan and Mon Tome Sein face trying to help release these children from the army.
