Hi John,
Apologies for the delay in getting back to you. I'm on a study course in Bangkok at the moment and haven't had time to check my web/blogs etc. I originally shot this story as part of a Rotary International project on polio eradication and found the Jaipur Limb Centre an inspirational place. As this was a Rotary sponsored trip I'm sure they would be happy to assist another ngo in their project so i'll send over some images to you. If you can look at the link here and let me know what images you'd like I'll sort that out. Please refer to image number bottom right corner.

All the best and speak to you again soon.

Hi, Richard:

I found this link online. I'm very impressed with your photos. I am doing a brochure for the non-profit Limbs International organization (http://www.limbsinternational.org/) to help them raise money to outfit artificial limbs in developing countries. I am trying to find some new photos of amputees (AK-above the knee). Virtually all the photography I have to work with is very amateur (with the exception of some nice shots from the Dallas Morning News who accompanied LIMBS (formerly LEGS) when they went to Sierra Leone to train the local prosthetists.

If you have any photos you can let us use, we would really appreciate it. I'll take whatever you can spare (color or B&W). I can't pay you, but I can make sure that you get a photo credit. if so, toss some in Zip file or tell me where I can download them.

LIMBS is a great organization. I worked for them on a pro bono basis for the last 4 years. We're trying to raise money to expand the program. Check out the website for more info.

Thanks for your consideration, Richard. Regardless, you are a very talented photographer and I wish you the best.
